Designed to restrict the bandwidth of a speaker with a smooth, gentle slope, it can be combined with a low-pass filter of the same frequency to form a second-order Linkwitz-Riley filter, ensuring a perfectly neutral response at the crossover point. The use of high-quality components guarantees a stable and predictable response, while the ability to adjust or shift the cut-off frequencies allows the filter to be adapted to the specific response of each loudspeaker.
