VIABLUE NF-S5 T8 Phono Cable

The Viablue NF-S5 is a phono cable designed to transmit very low-level analogue signals between a turntable and a phono preamplifier. It features silver-plated OFC copper conductors combined with a capacitance of approximately 50pF/m, to limit load effects on the cartridge and preserve the frequency response from the tonearm output, whilst the DIN connection ensures native channel and ground separation. The internal structure is built around a central polypropylene core and polyethylene insulation with low electrostatic charge, which helps to stabilise the cable’s electrical parameters over time.

Designed for phono setups, it features multi-layer shielding combining braided and foil shielding, extended all the way to the connectors to prevent any breaks in continuity.

The silver-plated OFC copper conductors reduce line resistance, preserving the subtle variations in the signal from the cartridge, whilst the capacitance of 50pF/m limits interaction with the preamplifier’s input impedance, preventing any distortion of the high-frequency response.

This approach is extended by an internal design that separates the channels and ground planes, reducing crosstalk, whilst the continuous shielding ensure controlled dissipation of interference. Together, these features maintain signal integrity right up to the phono stage, under conditions suited to the low-level signals from a cartridge.
