I purchased everything needed to make two one-meter pairs of NF-S6 Air Silver XLR cables. The package was delivered to me, in the USA with no additional fees needed to be paid.
This is a fairly complex cable with very nice features compared to other DIY cables. The silver-plating, and extensive shielding are more in line with more expensive cables. The trade-off is preparing, dressing and terminating this cable was a relatively long and tedious process. For avid DIY people, this will not be a problem. However, if you're looking for something simple, the NF-S1, or buying the NF-S6 would be the best option. I would say given this cable's features and the assembly process, purchasing the ready-made NF-S6 would actually be a bargain.
For sound, the NF-S6 cables cast a broad image, and brought things forward considerably in my fairly laid-back system. On some systems, things might be too forward and/or bright. The noise floor wasn't especially silent, but the cables did bring out noticeably more detail then the Mogami W2549 (DIY) cables I recently made.
