Phono Preamplifier RIAA MC ACSS
The Audio-GD LP-1 MC is a high-performance RIAA phono preamplifier, compatible with MC-cell turntables, which offers a careful design that corrects the defects common to many preamplifiers of this type. Here, a low-pass filter (75uS) at the input allows a more linear response between 1kHz and 20kHz.
All of the LP-1 MC's circuitry is designed to provide smooth and accurate sound reproduction. This includes a regenerative power supply, itself composed of 4 Class A PSUs, ACSS circuitry, and quality components such as the 2SK170 FETs in input and output buffers.
Regenerative power supply
The regenerative power supply can block most disturbances from the power line to provide a clean and stable signal to the audio circuits. For this purpose, the LP-1 MC circuitry uses regenerative transformers, Class A power supplies, a wave generator and gain amplifiers. In addition, each audio circuit has its own power supply.
