The MC7812CTG is a 12V nominal positive voltage regulator. This fixed voltage regulator can be integrated in many projects. It incorporates current limiting and thermal protection. With a suitable heatsink it can deliver 1A. Initially designed as a fixed voltage regulator, it can also be used with external components to obtain an adjustable voltage and current.
