The Dayton Audio PA380-8 is a professional 38.1cm (15") woofer, with an impedance of 8Ω, designed for guitar, bass and PA cabinets. It handles 500W RMS (1000W maximum) and covers a range of 28 to 3500Hz, with a sensitivity of 96.1dB (2.83 V/1m), allowing it to be integrated into systems requiring high output level and extended response.
Its carbon-fiber-impregnated paper cone combines low mass and rigidity, while the copper-capped motor limits distortion. The 1.5mm reinforced-profile steel frame, the 80 oz ferrite magnet and the vented voice coil contribute to robustness and thermal management during sustained use. These features make it a transducer suited to replacement cabinets as well as custom-designed systems.
