The FiiO FG3 is a closed-back gaming headphone with a dual coaxial dynamic driver, combining a 50 mm transducer for bass and midrange with a 16 mm model dedicated to treble. It integrates a DAC, a DSP and a headphone amplifier delivering up to 80 mW, with support for PCM signals up to 24bit / 192kHz to ensure accurate reproduction and coherent spatialization.
Designed for computer gaming, it combines 10-band equalization, mix adjustment and 7.1 virtual spatialization via the FiiO Control web application, allowing the sound to be adapted to different audio environments. Its detachable noise-canceling microphone prioritizes voice intelligibility, while its closed-back design limits sound exchange with the outside for focused use.
FiiO FG3: Dual coaxial driver
The FiiO FG3 is a closed-back gaming headphone integrating two dynamic drivers per side: a 50 mm transducer dedicated to bass and midrange, combined with a 16 mm model responsible for treble reproduction. Their coaxial architecture concentrates sound emission on a single point, which improves phase coherence between the registers and promotes more accurate spatialization, particularly for locating movements and sound effects in games.
FiiO FG3: Integrated DAC, DSP and amplification
Beyond its acoustic design, the FG3 integrates a DAC and a DSP compatible with PCM signals up to 24bit / 192kHz, allowing digital processing directly adapted to gaming use. The FiiO Control web application gives access to a 10-band equalizer as well as mix adjustment, in order to fine-tune reproduction according to the type of game or listening preferences. Its integrated headphone amplifier delivers up to 80 mW, ensuring a power reserve suited to prolonged use.
FiiO FG3: 7.1 virtual spatialization
The integrated DSP also allows the activation of a 7.1 virtual spatialization system. This simulated multichannel reproduction widens the soundstage and reinforces the perception of directional information, allowing better distinction of sound sources in complex gaming environments.
FiiO FG3: Detachable microphone
The headphone finally comes with a detachable microphone featuring noise cancellation tuned to prioritize the voice. This design limits the capture of surrounding noise and improves voice communication intelligibility, while the removable nature of the microphone allows a more discreet use outside gaming sessions.
