The Shanling EC ZERO T MAX combines a proprietary R2R DAC with an analog output stage built around two genuine Raytheon JAN6418 subminiature vacuum tubes. This combination delivers a natural and organic sound while maintaining excellent precision and resolution. The headphone stage is based on AD8397 operational amplifiers capable of efficiently driving both in-ear monitors and demanding audiophile headphones, delivering up to 1300mW into 32Ω via the balanced 4.4mm output.
