IAN CANADA 93D Streamer Module Kit

The Ian Canada 93D is a DIY streamer kit based on a reclocked FIFO architecture, designed to ensure I2S/DSD signal conversion and regeneration independent of any host platform. It utilises the FifoPi Q7III module for low-jitter buffering and reclocking, whilst the PurePi II supercapacitor power supply stabilises critical rails to reduce noise fluctuations and transient disturbances. This combination enables the reconstruction of a temporally coherent digital stream, directly influencing the accuracy of downstream conversion via the I2S output to HDMI.

Beyond this technical foundation, the integration of the ReceiverPi DDC II extends the management of digital inputs by converting them to a unified I2S bus, whilst the HdmiPiPro II module ensures differential signal transmission, thereby minimising interference and parasitic ground loops. This approach is extended with the MonitorPi Pro, which monitors clock and power supply parameters whilst allowing direct control of the system, thereby enabling the behaviour of the digital stream to be adjusted according to the chosen configuration.
