Find here a selection of useful and/or essential accessories for this product. These are specially selected by the Audiophonics team according to the characteristics of the product.

This 97B kit combines five complementary modules from Ian Canada: a PurePi II hybrid power supply, an ES9038Q2M Dual Mono MKII DAC module with Transformer I/V output, a ShieldPi Pro MKIII shield, and a MonitorPi Pro control centre, forming a high-performance DAC platform (PCM 384kHz, native DSD512, DoP128) that only requires the addition of a Raspberry Pi to obtain an operational audiophile digital-to-analogue converter with XLR and RCA outputs.
This kit does not include a Raspberry Pi or LiFePO4 battery; these are available as accessories.
The 9038Q2M MKII converts digital signals (PCM up to 768kHz, native DSD up to DSD1024) to analogue signals using two ES9038Q2M chips operating in dual mono mode, with a dedicated chip per channel to eliminate left-right interactions.

Since the 9038Q2M Dual Mono II delivers its signal as raw current, the Transformer I/V converts this output into a voltage that can be used by amplifiers. This conversion is performed using custom audio transformers (15Hz-30kHz ±0.3dB) without active components or an external power supply. The module produces fixed levels of 4Vp-p RMS in XLR and 2Vp-p RMS in RCA.
The MonitorPi Pro features a 1.54" OLED display and a high-speed digital analyser that scans I²S/DSD signals up to 128MHz in real time, instantly displaying the detected audio format (PCM up to 1536kHz, DSD up to DSD1024). This driverless Linux architecture connects directly to the Raspberry Pi's GPIO, exposing playback metadata and digital chain status without additional processor load. The module incorporates dedicated controllers, centralising system management via a physical button or IR remote control.

The ShieldPi Pro MKIII is installed between the Raspberry Pi and audio modules to reduce electromagnetic radiation via single-ground shielding. The 5V filter networks cover a wide frequency band, while the integrated 3.3V/500mA rail directly powers add-on modules.
The PurePi II delivers two isolated rails: 5V via supercapacitors for the Raspberry Pi, and 3.3V on a LifePO4 battery for audio peripherals. This passive architecture eliminates high-frequency noise from switching power supplies, with the supercapacitor rail allowing current transients without active regulation, while the battery ensures stable impedance for clocks and analogue stages. The SYNC charging function recharges the batteries during breaks, extending battery life.
