Fosi Audio ZH1 DAC Headphone Amplifier ES9039Q2M 32bit 768kHz DSD512
The Fosi Audio ZH1 is a balanced DAC and headphone amplifier designed to drive headphones from 8 to 300Ω and to process PCM signals up to 32bits 768kHz as well as DSD512. Its four-channel differential architecture and its 2300mW balanced output combine high-resolution conversion and amplification power in a desktop format.
Intended for a HiFi or gaming setup, it combines headphone and RCA outputs, dedicated listening modes and AI-assisted parametric equalization, with fast switching between headphones and speakers. Its LCD screen and browser-based control make adjustments easy, while UAC 1.0 compatibility allows it to be used with certain game consoles.
Fosi Audio ZH1: 2300mW amplification
The Fosi Audio ZH1 combines a DAC and a headphone amplifier in a fully balanced architecture, designed to drive headphones from 8 to 300Ω. Its balanced output delivers up to 2300 mW, while the class AB amplification aims to limit crossover distortion and maintain stable reproduction.
Fosi Audio ZH1: ES9039Q2M DAC
The combination of an XMOS interface, an ES9039Q2M DAC and two operational amplifiers supports PCM streams up to 32bits 768kHz and DSD512. Four independent differential paths, distributed between the DAC and the headphone amplifier, provide balanced channel amplification; the ZH1 specifies a noise floor of 3.2µV, crosstalk of −121dB and THD+N of 0.0002% or less.
Fosi Audio ZH1: Listening settings and assisted equalization
The intelligent acoustic assistant lets you describe the type of sound you are looking for, warmer or more transparent, for example, in order to generate a custom parametric equalizer. It can also suggest presets for games, movies and music, then refine its recommendations over time. An open database helps adapt the response to different headphone models and their frequency curves.
Fosi Audio ZH1: Switchable modes and outputs
The Game, Movie and HiFi modes make it easy to switch from one use to another, while UAC 1.0 compatibility allows integration with consoles such as the PS5 and Nintendo Switch. A double press on the touch menu switches between the headphone output and the RCA speaker outputs; each output retains its own volume setting to avoid repeated adjustments.
Fosi Audio ZH1: Control and display
The control panel, accessible from a browser, lets you adjust equalization, customize RGB lighting and save or share profiles. The 1.2-inch LCD screen displays playback information and settings, complemented by an aluminum knob and touch controls for direct adjustments.
