FX-AUDIO DAC-A10DAC ES9018K2M / Tube Preamplifier 6N3 Bluetooth 5.1 aptX HD LDAC 24Bit 192kHz
FX-Audio's DAC-A10 is a versatile, high-performance DAC / tube preamplifier with a relatively compact form factor. It is based on quality components such as an ESS ES9018K2M DAC chip and two 6N3 tubes for the preamplifier stage. It also incorporates a TI TPA6120A2 headphone amplifier chip, OPA1612 OPAs, an STM8S microcontroller, a CM6642 USB/ADC interface and a QCC5125 Bluetooth 5.1 receiver chip. It supports PCM streams up to 24bit 192kHz. Moreover, a subwoofer output enables the A10 DAC to be used in a 2.1-channel Hi-Fi configuration.
FX-Audio DAC-A10: ESS ES9018K2M DAC and CM6642 interface
The DAC-A10 features an ESS Technology ES9018K2M DAC chip for audiophile applications. This chip features HyperStream architecture and a jitter elimination solution. It enables the DAC-A10 to support audio streams up to PCM 24bit 192kHz. A CM6642 chip completes the decoding stage. This chip acts as a high-speed USB 2.0 interface with 3-channel ADC, S/PDIF interface and PWM LED controller.
FX-AUDIO DAC-A10: Preamplification with 6N3 tubes
The preamplifier stage incorporates two 6N3 tubes, bringing warmth and roundness to the final sound reproduction. If you wish to adapt the DAC-10's output sound to your listening preferences, you can change the tubes supplied with the following compatible tubes: 6A8Q, 2C51, 5670, 5185, 6385, 6185, WE396, ECC42, 6H3N, 6H3II, ECF82 or 6CC42.
FX-Audio DAC-A10: Bluetooth 5.1 receiver chip
A Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth 5.1 receiver chip enables the DAC-A10 to support high-resolution Bluetooth codecs: SBC, ACC, aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD and LDAC. So you can enjoy an audio source such as your smartphone or tablet with a high-resolution wireless connection.
FX-Audio DAC A-10: a high-performance headphone amplifier
The TI TPA6120A2 class A/B amplifier chip delivers wide bandwidth, low noise and high dynamics. It gives the DAC-A10 plenty of power on its 6.35mm jack headphone output, with 2x 300mW @ 32 Ohm.
