FX-AUDIO DS07
Balanced DAC ES9068AS XMOS XU216 Bluetooth 5.1 QCC5125 LDAC 32bit / 768kHz DSD512 MQA
FX-Audio unveils its DS07 balanced DAC, a compact, high-performance device with an original appearance. FX-Audio's DS07 is made from a complete range of audiophile components: an ES9068AS DAC chip, an XMOS XU-216 USB interface, a QCC5125 Bluetooth 5.1 receiver chip and no fewer than 5 OPA1612 OPAs. These components enable this FX-Audio DAC to achieve excellent measurement performance. In addition, it boasts extensive connectivity, including a balanced stereo output on XLR connectors.
ESS ES9068AS DAC chip
The DS07 incorporates an ESS Technologies ES9068AS 32-bit stereo DAC chip. The latter is based on a HyperStream® II QUAD DAC™ architecture and enables the DS07 to support high-fidelity sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 768kHz, native DSD up to DSD512 and even MQA streams.
XMOS XU-216 USB interface
A second-generation XMOS XU-216 USB interface with USB-B input completes the DS07 circuit. It provides this DAC with a high-performance digital input.
Bluetooth 5.1 reception
FX-Audio has chosen to integrate a Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth 5.1 receiver chip for wireless transmission with high-resolution audio codecs: SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX LL and LDAC.
Remote control and color LCD screen
A remote control offers an enhanced user experience. Among other things, it lets you control volume and EQ, or select the input source of the DAC DS07. A color LCD screen also displays playback information.
