The iFi Audio Uno is a compact DAC and headphone amplifier that easily and efficiently enhances the sound quality of a standard digital source such as a smartphone, tablet or computer. Uno simply connects to your source device via its USB-C input and requires no additional power supply. Add headphones, powered speakers or an amplifier and passive speakers and enjoy rich, accurate sound reproduction-all at a contained price.
The iFi Audio Uno offers three operating modes to suit different usage scenarios. The three buttons on the top of the unit make switching between modes quick and easy. The active mode is illuminated with a blue light.
The Uno supports a variety of file formats and allows you to enjoy high-resolution audio streams, up to PCM 32bit 384kHz, DSD256 (native), DXD 384kHz and MQA (Master Quality Authenticated). The latter allows you to enjoy sound quality as close as possible to the original studio recording.
The analog circuitry of the iFi Audio Uno shows a careful and intelligent design. The headphone output in particular benefits from the brand's S-Balanced technology for noise and crosstalk reduction.
In addition, the DAC uses an analog volume control. This has the advantage of providing non-destructive sound level management, maintaining the audio quality of the device regardless of the volume level.
Finally, the PowerMatch feature allows the Uno to adjust its gain level for a perfect match with both in-ear monitors and more demanding headphones.
Proprietary DRE (Dynamic Range Enhancement) technology extends the dynamic range by at least 6dB for an improved listening experience by reducing THD and crosstalk. In addition to this feature, gain control and digital filters are available to allow the Uno to adapt to individual tastes and needs.
