This compact and elegant DAC incorporates an ES9028Q2M chip and an output stage built around a pair of operational amplifiers OPA111. The device shines by its sound finesse as much as its ease of use: all its basic functions, from power on/off to source selection and volume control are accessible from a sober and stylish façade.

Ideal for small and medium sized installations, DAC3 can be connected to three sources at  the sale tule (Optical, Coaxial, USB) and switch from one to another with a single button touch. The DAC will be able to handle digital flow from TV, a media platform / game console and a streamer / computer to centralize the decoding process to a single amplifier or powered speakers.

Fine output stage

The DAC3 carries two high performance and low noise operational amplifiers OPA111 (FET) at the core of an output stage capable of delivering up to 5V with a very low distortion (<0.001%).

The unit provides an unbalanced output on RCA connector and a balanced output on XLR-3 connector. It can thus be used with advanced audiophile installations while remaining scalable.
