The SMSL VMV P2 MK2 utilises a matrix of 99 operational amplifiers arranged in a symmetrical configuration to deliver up to 14W under 16Ω, thereby providing high current whilst minimising common-mode noise interference. This output stage configuration ensures a stable power supply to demanding loads, resulting in the ability to drive low-sensitivity headphones without loss of dynamic range or signal compression.

This approach is complemented by the integration of the proprietary PLFC+ feedback circuit, which linearises the signal in real time whilst stabilising the gain, thereby reducing distortion components without compromising the overall stability of the amplification. Adjustment via three gain levels extends this logic by precisely adapting the behaviour of the output stage to the impedance and sensitivity of the headphones, ensuring consistent performance across the volume range.
