The EarAcoustic Genesis Mix9 are multi-driver in-ear monitors designed to deliver extended and segmented reproduction across the full frequency spectrum. They integrate a 9-driver architecture combining a dynamic transducer for the bass, balanced armature drivers for the midrange, and micro planar magnetic drivers for the high frequencies, relying on a dedicated frequency distribution to maintain stable reproduction from 20Hz to 20kHz while limiting inter-register interactions.
Designed for moderate and extended analytical listening, they combine hybrid filtering, both electronic and physical, allowing the frequency response to be structured and transitions between frequency bands to be controlled. This approach enables a coherent and hierarchical reproduction, while maintaining a slightly warm signature oriented towards vocal intelligibility and listening comfort across varied configurations.
The Genesis Mix9 rely on a 9-driver architecture distributed across frequency ranges, segmenting the reproduction workload in order to limit the mechanical constraints inherent to each technology while ensuring continuous spectral coverage. The bass register is handled by a dynamic driver integrating a titanium diaphragm paired with a composite suspension and a dual magnet structure, which stabilises low-frequency excursion while maintaining good transient control between 20Hz and 800Hz.
This approach extends into the midrange through the integration of four balanced armature drivers, whose low moving mass enables fast and structured reproduction of vocal content, while four micro planar magnetic drivers handle the high frequencies, extending the response while maintaining homogeneous dispersion. The overall configuration forms a coherent functional distribution, where each technology operates within its optimal efficiency range.

The Genesis Mix9 combine an electronic crossover and physical filtering, allowing control over both the energy distribution between drivers and the continuity of transitions across frequency bands. In the bass, a moderate boost centred around 100Hz structures the low-end foundation while maintaining a progressive roll-off toward the sub-bass, avoiding any overload in the lower spectrum and preserving midrange intelligibility.
Beyond this, the midrange is organised around a dense plateau between 1kHz and 2.5kHz, enhancing vocal presence while integrating targeted attenuation of the sibilance region between 6kHz and 8kHz, limiting auditory fatigue during extended listening sessions. This continuity extends into the treble through a natural roll-off beyond 12kHz, with no pronounced peak at the mid-to-treble transition, allowing an airy and transparent reproduction without introducing harshness.
The result is a slightly V-shaped signature oriented towards the vocal register, whose density and warmth prioritise overall coherence and long-term listening comfort, while maintaining a sufficient level of detail for versatile use.

The Genesis Mix9 are supplied with a CIEM to 3.5mm jack cable made from silver-plated OFC copper, ensuring high-quality signal transmission to fully exploit the performance of the earphones.
