The Kiwi Ears Aether are high quality in-ear monitors (IEMs) featuring innovative planar magnetic driver technology, built around the largest planar transducer ever developed by Kiwi Ears. This 15.3mm driver uses multi-layer N52 magnets to deliver an exceptional combination of power, low distortion, and dynamic performance, significantly surpassing traditional 12mm or 14mm planar drivers. This unique design allows the Aether to achieve a sound quality reminiscent of open-back headphones, with a wide soundstage, excellent spatial presentation, and remarkably precise imaging.
Thanks to their advanced acoustic architecture, the Aether reproduce a natural and well-balanced sound signature, with deep, controlled bass, accurate mids, and clear yet non-aggressive treble extension. With a low impedance of 14Ω and a sensitivity of 105dB SPL/mW, these IEMs are easy to drive from mobile sources while still capable of scaling with more powerful audio equipment. Their reliable design includes a detachable 0.78mm 2-pin CIEM cable with a 3.5mm jack termination, ensuring modularity and durability.

Their shape ensures secure positioning and effective passive isolation while remaining lightweight enough for portable use.
The detachable 0.78mm 2 pins cable system offers maximum flexibility: it allows easy replacement of the original cable if needed and enables users to upgrade to alternative cables (such as balanced versions) to tailor the listening experience according to their setup and preferences.
