Moondrop Pudding Wireless In-Ear Monitors IEM Dynamic Beige
The Moondrop Pudding are wireless in-ear monitors combining a full-range dynamic driver with on-board digital processing. They feature a 10mm titanium dome driver with a variable damping diaphragm, combined with RT-adaptive active noise cancellation controlled by a chip incorporating an NPU, to simultaneously manage sound reproduction and ambient noise filtering.
This architecture is complemented by an app-configurable DSP, allowing for fine-tuning of the frequency response or the application of automated equalisation, whilst maintaining consistent sound reproduction and optimised speech intelligibility through AI ENC processing.
Moondrop Pudding: 10mm driver
The Pudding’s sound reproduction is based on a 10mm dynamic driver featuring a titanium dome combined with a variable-damping diaphragm, a configuration that simultaneously optimises rigidity and resonance control. This is complemented by a lightweight voice coil and an N52 magnetic circuit, which improve transient response whilst reducing distortion across the entire frequency range. This design ensures a wide and consistent response, providing a stable foundation for detailed reproduction.
Moondrop Pudding: Active noise cancellation
Noise cancellation is based on a hybrid 4-microphone architecture driven by an adaptive RT algorithm, enabling continuous analysis of the acoustic environment whilst dynamically adjusting the depth and compensation band. This approach is further enhanced by the integration of a chip featuring an NPU module, which performs AI-powered ENC processing capable of isolating the voice from ambient noise, thereby improving the clarity of phone calls. Beyond simple filtering, the system corrects for positioning-related discrepancies in the in-ear fit using a feedback microphone, ensuring stable noise reduction and intelligible voice reproduction, even in noisy environments.
Moondrop Pudding: Moondrop app
With the new version of the Moondrop app, available on Android and iOS, you can configure the equalisation settings for the Pudding’s built-in DSP. All settings, including filter types, frequency control and gain, can be freely adjusted. The original frequency response is also displayed for reference. In addition, the Pudding speakers feature an automatic equalisation function. This allows you to simply select a target curve to activate audio optimisation with a single click.
