Ian Canada Transformer I/V 2027 Passive I/V Stage Module
The Ian Canada Transformer I/V 2027 is an I/V transformer module operating in purely passive mode, without any feedback or active components. It doesn't even need a power supply. This module makes it possible to design an excellent, low-cost DAC.
Unlike OPA-based I/V solutions, the Transformer I/V offers a natural, analog sound.
What's New in the 2027 Version
- New-generation Permalloy I/V transformers with high performance and low distortion, carefully selected and customized, optimized for ESS DACs and other current-output DACs in balanced configuration.
- Frequency response (@ 20 kOhm load) : 5Hz - 80kHz +/- 3dB. 20Hz - 20kHz +/- 0.3dB
- Beautiful high-frequency reproduction with extremely low distortion for an enhanced listening experience.
- Precision manufacturing ensuring top-level hardware engineering quality.

- Audiophile-level sound quality at an affordable price.
- Unbalanced (RCA) and unbalanced (XLR) outputs. All output connectors are located on the same side of the module.
- Output levels 0dB. XLR: 4Vp-p RMS; RCA: 2Vp-p RMS.

- Ready-to-use module, no soldering required.
- Works directly with ES9038Q2M and ES9028Q2M DAC HAT modules.
