The Dayton Audio PM220-8 is a full range / midbass speaker based on the same design as the excellent Point Source range, but designed for exotic high-performance applications requiring a wide frequency response in the mid to low-midrange range. The PM220-8 provides optimum performance and high efficiency for many types of systems, such as vented loudspeakers, transmission lines or horn designs.
The PM range benefits from ultra-linear Klippel-optimized Neodymium motors with low distortion and low-loss Kevlar-reinforced paper diaphragms for high efficiency and extremely detailed reproduction. The wide frequency response range of these drivers makes them excellent complements for ribbon or planar-magnetic tweeters..
