E1DA 9039S USB DAC Headphone Amplifier

The E1DA 9039S is a balanced USB DAC / headphone combo combining high sound performance and ultra-compact design, a direct descendant of the 9038S Gen 3. It is based on the latest ESS ES9039Q2M chip, providing high-resolution decoding up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and DSD256, for extremely fine and precise sound reproduction.

Its analogue section is based on a duo of OPA1612 and AD8397, offering impressive output power of up to 2x710mW at 12 Ohm, providing enough power for the majority of headphones and earphones on the market.

Compact and with no internal battery, the 9039S draws its power directly from the device it is connected to (smartphone, tablet, computer), guaranteeing ease of use without compromising performance. Input is via a USB-C connector, while output is via a balanced 2.5 mm jack plug.
