IFI AUDIO GO LINK 2 MAX Portable DAC Headphone Amplifier

The iFi Audio Go Link 2 Max is a portable USB DAC with integrated headphone amplifier designed to deliver audiophile-grade sound quality from a smartphone, tablet, or computer. It features a balanced architecture based on two ESS Sabre ES9219 DAC chips, with each converter dedicated to a single channel to improve stereo separation and reduce background noise. Compatible with high-resolution audio streams up to PCM 32bit 384kHz, DXD 384kHz, and DSD256, it ensures precise and transparent conversion of the most demanding audio files.

The Go Link 2 Max features a USB-C input, a balanced 4.4mm headphone output, and a 3.5mm S-Balanced output, compatible with single-ended headphones and earphones while reducing crosstalk. It delivers up to 241mW into 32Ω or 4V into 300Ω via the 4.4mm output, and up to 100mW into 32Ω or 2V into 300Ω via the 3.5mm output, allowing it to efficiently drive a wide variety of headphones and earphones.

The Go Link 2 Max also integrates several proprietary iFi technologies, including Dynamic Range Enhancement (DRE), providing up to +6dB of additional dynamic range, THD Compensation for harmonic distortion correction, and a jitter reduction circuit for more accurate audio reproduction. Its USB connection uses a silver-plated copper cable featuring individual polymer insulation and a twisted-pair structure. This design helps reduce parasitic inductance and capacitance while improving electromagnetic interference rejection. Unlike many conventional audio cables, the Go Link 2 Max preserves signal integrity even when used near sources of electrical interference. The package includes the Go Link 2 Max DAC and a USB-A to USB-C adapter.
