IFI AUDIO GO LINK 2 Portable DAC Headphone Amplifier

The Go Link 2 from iFi Audio is a portable DAC adapter that is ideal for connecting headphones or earphones to a device that does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack, such as a recent smartphone. It also allows devices with a headphone jack to enjoy better sound thanks to the built-in high-quality DAC and headphone amplifier.

Its ESS Sabre ES9219 DAC chip delivers high-quality sound by supporting signals up to PCM 32bit 384 kHz and DSD256. Its amplifier stage delivers 79mW of power at 32Ω and 14mW at 300Ω.

The iFi Audio Go Link 2 consists of a male USB-C input on one end and an S-Balanced 3.5mm headphone output on the other. Proprietary S-Balanced technology applies the principles of a balanced circuit to a single-ended headphone output, reducing crosstalk for improved audio quality.
A flexible cable connects the input and output, making it convenient to use while reducing mechanical stress on the connectors and connected devices. In addition, it features individually insulated silver-plated copper conductors, ensuring excellent conductivity for perfect signal transmission.

The Go Link 2 is an improvement on the original Go Link model with significant enhancements. It is lighter, with a 29% reduction in weight, and more efficient, with a 63% reduction in harmonic distortion.
