SMSL R1 Portable DAC Headphone Amplifier 4x CS43131 Silver
The SMSL R1 is a high-performance portable headphone amplifier DAC with a unique look. It uses four CS43131 DAC chips for high-quality digital-to-analog conversion. It also offers several additional features, such as four equalization modes and bass and treble controls, allowing you to tailor the sound to your preferences. In terms of connectivity, it is not to be outdone, with several digital inputs (USB-C, Toslink optical, coaxial), as well as an RCA line output and two headphone outputs: 3.5mm single-ended jack and 4.4mm balanced jack. This set of connections is completed by a 3.5mm MIC input, perfect for a gaming setup. Specially designed for headphone listening, the SMSL R1 has an output power of up to 500mW under 32 ohms.
SMSL R1: A high-performance portable DAC amplifier
The four DAC chips inside the SMSL R1 enable it to perform high-quality digital-to-analog conversion. In addition, its amplifier stage allows it to drive IEMs or headphones with an impedance of 32 to 600 ohms. In fact, it delivers up to 120mW under 32Ω.
SMSL R1: EQ and tone control
Additional features such as 4 equalization modes allow you to sculpt the sound. Three faders also allow you to adjust the microphone volume or bass and treble tones from -9dB to +9dB.
SMSL R1: A retro design
On the front panel, there are three faders, an input level indicator, and a vintage potentiometer for headphone volume control. All of these elements combine to create a sleek, retro look that SMSL R1 users are sure to love.
