TRUTHEAR KEYX Portable USB DAC

The Truthear KEYX is a portable USB DAC with integrated headphone amplifier designed to significantly improve the audio quality of smartphones, tablets, computers, and other devices equipped with a USB-C port. Compact and lightweight, it is built around a Cirrus Logic CS43131 digital-to-analog conversion chip, renowned for its excellent audio performance and low power consumption. The KEYX supports high-resolution audio streams up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and DSD256, offering broad compatibility with modern Hi-Res audio files. Its 3.5mm TRRS 4-pole jack output allows not only the connection of stereo earphones or headphones but also supports an integrated microphone for voice calls, gaming, or video conferencing. Capable of delivering more than 50mW of output power into 32Ω, it is perfectly suited to the majority of in-ear monitors and portable headphones. The KEYX also delivers excellent technical performance with a signal-to-noise ratio of 122dB, a dynamic range of 122dB, and total harmonic distortion plus noise reaching only -107dB with a 32Ω load and -112dB with a 600Ω load, ensuring precise, detailed, and silent audio reproduction.

Truthear KEYX: Online Parametric EQ via EQTool

One of the key features of the Truthear KEYX is its compatibility with the EQTool online equalization platform, accessible directly from a web browser through Truthear's dedicated service. This solution allows users to easily adjust the DAC's sound signature without requiring the installation of complex software.

Through this interface, users can apply custom EQ profiles tailored to their earphones or listening preferences, modify various frequency parameters, and save their settings directly to the device. This approach provides great flexibility and enables quick optimization of sound reproduction according to the equipment used or the music genre being played, while maintaining simple and accessible operation across different operating systems.
