Because often we do not want to believe that there are such differences in quality with regard to power strips. This is not only a matter of giving an esoteric opinion in relation to the acoustic qualities (because a power strip can not correct the defects of a "failed" electrical installation), but above all to observe the safety rules. The function of a hi-fi or keyboard depends primarily on a constant and reliable power supply, since a short pulse variation is already able to eliminate a composition or damage a device.
The criteriaThe most important elements are a perfect contact quality, an excellent crimping of the conductors inside the case, a heat-resistant and impact-resistant housing material, and a high reliability circuit breaker.
