My Ascilab F6B experience
The Ascilab F6B loudspeakers sound refined, neutral and very detailed with a flat frequency response. It is so good that from Mid to High no frequency corrections are needed. Only the Bass, below 200 Herz, needs correction (depending on the accoustic qualities of the room).
The transition from mid-loudspeaker to Tweeter is very evenly. A piano playing from low to high sounds natural with a coherent timbre. No crossover detectable.
Stereo (Soundstage) is pleasant wide. I can move my head to left/right without a change in frequencies and localization in the soundstage.
Vertical directivity is also good. I am not in the habbit of listening to music while standing but when I walk around in the room or enter the room, the music is pleasant, the instruments sound natural.
Should I write more about the music? All music benefits from the above. Human voice, speech: all enhanced.

The Ascilab's can fill my listening room (about 17 m2) easily with loud music. I am not interested in 'party' level sound because that always destroys quality (and my ears). I am 70 and proud to have good ears (up to 10,5 KHerz).
At this moment I use a subwoofer, for 2 reasons:
1. Mainly: to solve the room resonances. The subwoofer (SVS SB100 Pro) has 3 parametric EQ-options: this is enough to correct 3 room resonances. Crossover is set at 100 Hz.
Another way to correct room-resonances is to use Room-correction software like Dirac or Audeyssy.
2. To extend/equalize the Bass-response.

Just for reference: I have Kef R300 (2016) loudspeakers, combined with the SVS SB100 Pro subwoofer. It's good. But Ascilab F6B is different. More refined.

I am very happy with the Ascilab F6B.
I use Near Field Listening. Loudspeakers are 55 cm from back-wall to back of F6B, 80 cm from side-wall, loudspeakers are 150 cm apart (front-centers) and toed-in about 15 degrees, my ears are about 160 cm from the loudspeakers. It's perfect for detailed listening, the best I experienced in my life!
