Great Little Amplifier
I recently purchased this amplifier based upon the rating of a similar unit (stereo as opposed to mono) in ASR using the same NCore amplification. The unit is being used between the pre-outs on an Anthem MRX 540 to drive a Kef R6 Meta with a 12-volt trigger. What can I say besides it works flawlessly, and the sound is very accurate sound production without creating an unneeded sound signature of its own, it just reproduces exactly what it is fed. It is well made and at the price point a bargain.

Acheté pour remplacer un kit elektor ampli/filtre Sub (trop fragile: pistes décollées, irréparable), cet ampli classe D est étonnant: graves fermes et moins empâtés qu'avec mon vieux kit elektor. Il descend bas et tient bien le HP grave.
Sensibilité d'entrée un peu plus faible que celle de mon kit elektor. Pour finir il rayonne un peu en HF: j'ai un recepteur DAB et j'ai du éloigner l'ampli et l'orienter dans un certain sens pour eviter les pertes du signal DAB.

Ampli pour infragrave
Je recherchais un amplificateur pour driver un infragrave et ce petit amplificateur m'a surpris par la tenue de la membrane, sa précision, définition, le moteur de mon HP a une bobine mobile de 100mm. Je l'ai essayé sur une enceinte large bande aussi (appareil mono), même constat.
Sa sensibilité d'entrée n'est pas très élevée, mais n'enlève rien a ses qualités.
Ce petit ampli tiens vraiment ses promesses et je le conseille.

I've replaced my old hi-end mono amps pair, 250W/4 ohm for listening to my classiques Dynaudio Confidence 5 (4 ohm, 80 dB/W/m). I am surprised this Ncore sounds absolutely transparent, no sound signature. I've noticed lower distorsion when playing loud, I cannot hear amp limitations. My room is about 27 m2 so this 250W works well. For a larger room and a so low 80 dB/W/m sesitivity a 400~500W could be necessary if real world SPL is wanted. The trigger input is very suitable. The amp remains cool even when playing loud. The box is ok and no luxurious kind of. This Ncore is almost perfect, immo.

Nicely put together unit, feels like good quality. Runs cool, no pops or clicks at turn on or off. Connected the remote trigger sockets together so the power switch on one unit activates both.
Service was good and delivery quick. Very well packed in a box, foam, another box, more foam, then separately bubble wrapped.
