Un ampli casque idéal !
Superbement emballé, tout d'abord. Protégé par une coque plastique, dans un carton, lui-même dans un autre carton, avec un sac de toile en prime. Pas très écolo, mais redoutable.

Produit net, solide, 1,7kg (le poids n'est pas indiqué dans les specs), tout métal.
Un seul souci : il n'y a pas de notice d'utilisation, ni physiquement, ni sur le web. C'est d'ailleurs un questionnement récurrent sur les forums, notamment en ce qui concerne l'emploi du pass through.

Il est connecté à la sortie Tape out de mon pré-ampli (un HK Citation 21) et alimente un Audeze LCD-2 fazor (70 ohms).

Le résultat est parfait de transparence et d'absence totale de bruit. Tout a déjà été dit sur cet ampli et les résultats du test d'ASR sont éloquents.

J'apprécie tout particulièrement le réglage de gain qui, en agissant sur l'impédance d'entrée, me permet d'obtenir une restitution plus ou moins "sombre" ou "claire" du son.

When I got the amp I first was disappointed because I couldn't gain a proper maximum volume and also the sound wasn't as good as expected. But then I realized that I fooled myself because my DAC (Allo Piano 2.1 with Kali) has a volume control and there I kept the volume low. By setting it to max both, the achievable maximum volume as well as the sound quality improved dramatically. The hint to check this I got from Audiophonics and Monoprice which both I've contacted and both reacted within hours. Concerning the sound quality (dynamic, resolution and timbre in general) it's breathtaking for high quality recordings. After only a couple of days of listening I would not like to miss this amp. Just to notice: The headphones I'm using are Philips Fidelio X3.

For me the state of the art.
More than three months are up and I’m very happy with this gear. For me the state of the art: build quality, handling, features and function are perfect. Especially the power! I use this amplifier not only for headphones, also for small near-field full-range boxes (for Visaton B80 with 16 Ohm/10W safety resistors pro pole, at gain step 1 (-4dB) is more than enough for very loud volume – without any signs of overheating! – nevertheless please make it only at your own risk). The sound quality and precision for me are incomparable!

Parfait !
Très bon ampli, aucun bruit de fond, le silence total. Que dire de plus que toutes les reviews que l'on trouve sur le net ? Il arrive très bien à alimenter des casques gourmands tel que le heddphone. J'en suis content à 100% Il est actuellement couplé à un dac Smsl M400 et c'est une tuerie !
