With its MONARCH MKII in-ear monitors, Thieaudio has introduced the most popular and best-selling of the brand's Signature Series a year and a half after its initial release. This Monarch II has been completely redesigned with revised drivers and improved tuning. These in-ear monitors are one of the first IEMs to fully integrate EST driver technology, establishing the THIEAUDIO's place in the world of Hifi audio.

Driver configuration

The heart of the Monarch has always been its extremely accurate and neutral midrange, making it a very capable studio monitor. To enhance this characteristic, Thieaudio has reconfigured the balanced armature drivers, reinforcing this basic range with 4 midrange drivers.
 
Doubling the midrange drivers has resulted in incredible advances in technical performance. Distortion has been reduced, while resolution, clarity, and midrange/treble articulation have been greatly improved.

Premium cable system

With this new version of the Monarch, Thieaudio has also updated its cable. Appreciated for its feel and high end sound properties, this cable is one of the most sought after products.
The cable features pure silver-plated 26AWG OCC copper conductors, and the incorporation of additional strands gives it a richer, more sustained sound.
Smart Switch technology is also included. These are modular plugs that allow you to choose between 4.4mm balanced, 2.5mm balanced, or 3.5mm unbalanced terminations by simply swapping the plug ends.
