CONNEX SMPS300RS Switching Power Supply Module 300W 24V

The Connex SMPS300RS is a half-bridge resonant switched-mode power supply (SMPS) capable of delivering 300W continuous and up to 360W peak. It is configured for a 24V output voltage and also features an unregulated differential output of approx. ±18V at a maximum current of 500mA. The main output voltage is regulated and adjustable within a range of approx. 10% ±5%).

The main feature of this power supply is the absence of heat sinks for the power MOSFETs and rectifier diodes, due to the increased efficiency, up to 92%. What's more, the amount of EMI interference is much lower than that of any conventional power supply, and could be compared to a regulated linear power supply. Footprint and weight are also considerably reduced, enabling the SMPS300RS to be installed in a compact case. The SMPS300RS also features overcurrent protection that limits output current to around 110% to 120% of maximum power.

As the main output voltage of this power supply is regulated, it is suitable for Class AB and Class D/T amplifiers with a medium PSRR value. Target applications for this power supply module are Class D BTL output amplifiers.
