The iFi Audio ZEN Stream 3 is an audiophile network player dedicated to high-resolution digital transmission to an external DAC. It is compatible with Qobuz Connect, TIDAL Connect, Spotify Connect, Roon, DLNA and AirPlay. It supports signals up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and DSD256, relying on optimised architecture and the integration of K2 technology to preserve the harmonic richness of the track as close as possible to the original recording. Its USB and S/PDIF output stage, synchronised by a femtosecond clock and processed by active noise reduction with iPurification technology, aims to limit jitter and electrical interference, enabling stable and consistent digital signal transmission within a demanding Hi-Fi system.
The ZEN Stream 3 supports reception and transmission of the main current streaming protocols, including Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Roon, DLNA and AirPlay, enabling direct integration into various software environments without an intermediate gateway.
Beyond access to services, the device transmits signals up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and DSD256, relying on an architecture optimised to maintain bitrate stability and data integrity. The integration of K2 technology extends this approach by ensuring that the harmonic structure of the signal is preserved, with the aim of reproducing the original recording faithfully.


The USB and S/PDIF outputs are based on a femtosecond clock, ensuring high temporal precision to reduce jitter when transferring data to your external DAC.
Beyond the clock, an active noise reduction system combined with proprietary iPurification technology isolates the signal from high-frequency pollution and potential interference from the network or power supply. This combination ensures clean digital transmission, allowing the DAC to work on a stabilised signal free from noise interference.
The rear Exclusive Mode selector allows you to disable non-essential software processes in order to focus system resources on a single protocol. Five positions are available: full operation, Roon only, TIDAL only, Qobuz only, or DLNA only.
This functional isolation reduces internal load and limits simultaneous software interactions, resulting in more direct processing of the active stream. By removing unnecessary background services, the device ensures a focused playback environment, minimising potential digital signal interference.

The iFi Nexis app, available on Android and iOS, simplifies initial setup by guiding you through network connection and activation of compatible services. In addition to basic configuration, the app provides access to advanced device settings, allowing for precise adjustments to suit your needs.
