The iFi Audio iEMatch+ is a passive impedance adapter cable designed to be connected between a source (smartphone, DAP) and earbuds or headphones to reduce impedance and background noise. It offers an output impedance of less than 2.5Ω or 1Ω, helping to minimize response variations associated with sensitive earbuds while maintaining linear sound reproduction.
Noise attenuation of 12 to 24dB reduces background noise, while the helical-structured cable minimizes interference and signal loss, ensuring unaltered signal transmission. With an input impedance of 16Ω, it is compatible with both balanced and unbalanced 3.5mm jack connections, thereby stabilizing noise levels and dynamics.
