The Tang Band W6-1721 is a 15.24cm (6") woofer equipped with a paper cone and a large ferrite magnet. Its 38.5 mm voice coil motor, combined with an underhung design, ensures precise excursion control while maintaining a low level of harmonic distortion on the second and third harmonics.
With a maximum excursion of 8 mm, the W6-1721 handles a significant load while retaining a controlled response in the bass range. Its natural roll-off in the high frequencies makes crossover tuning easier, which makes it particularly suited to 2-way speakers.
