DAC FPGA Altera Max II 32bit 768kHz DSD512
The Aune X8 is a high-performance DAC, compatible with high-resolution files up to 32bit PCM 768kHz and DSD512. The conversion is done using an Altera Max II FPGA chip, specifically programmed by Aune to achieve high conversion quality. The device benefits from a complete range of connectors, with USB-B, Coaxial and Optical inputs. The audio stream can then be output to an RCA Pre-Out or RCA Line output.
A special feature of the Aune X8 is that the OPA sound can be easily interchanged with another model to adapt the sound reproduction to your listening experience. The underside of the device shows the OPA in place, mounted on a DIP8 bracket, and is delivered with an extraction clip and a storage box for your OPA.
The device also offers a series of 7 filters to adjust its sound signature more and more precisely.
The Altera Max II FPGA is the true heart of this Aune X8. Its program, developed and optimized by Aune, allows a particularly efficient conversion of digital streams.
