Ever more efficient
After about a year of waiting, Matrix launches its "S" model which joins the range of Mini-I DAC's. With the same design as the Mini-I Pro 2, it brings a real power boost based on an ES9026PRO converter. This means that the excellent performances already achieved by the Mini-I Pro 1 of the name or by the DAC of the Mini-I series in general can be extended even further.
ESS Sabre 9026Pro
The brand new 8-channel ES9026Pro converter provides great optimization of the integrated DSP compared to its predecessor, the ES9016S, while providing a better user experience.
Full DSD Connectors
Instead of limiting DSD support only via the USB port, Matrix allows you to take advantage of a full DSD connection right now. Thus, the Mini-I Pro 2S supports DoP support via the Optical, Coaxial and AES/EBU inputs, allowing you to take advantage of the DoP function of your drives.
Different filters for different listening
With more than 7 types of PCM digital filters, you can select a filter curve to refine the returned timbre. Thus, everyone can find a mode adapted to their listening needs.
Integrated Preamplifier
The line output can be adjusted with a volume gain up to +18dB. In this way, it is no longer necessary to add an external pre-amplifier to use active low gain speakers. Of course, the Mini-I Pro 2S can work with a power amplifier for a more flexible use and more in accordance with your needs.
Bluetooth aptX
For easy and comfortable listening, the Matrix Mini-I Pro 2S lets you stream your files in Bluetooth. It therefore incorporates the aptX standard, which has the advantage of protecting your files from Bluetooth damage.
An elegant design
The Mini-I Pro 2S inherits the elegant design of the Mini-I series DACs. CNC-machined with anodized surface, it announces at a glance a quality product.
Remote Control
The DAC, supplied with a remote control, wins with this accessory a real plus in terms of ergonomics. This allows you to switch the unit on/off, control the volume or select the active source.
