The BerryBak BDSP2.4U MAX is a digital active crossover with an asymmetrical 2-input / 4-output architecture, designed to perform two-way filtering in an audio system. Its line outputs connect directly to the amplifiers dedicated to the tweeters and woofers, thereby replacing the passive crossover located between the amplifier and the loudspeakers. This configuration avoids the electrical losses and phase shifts associated with passive components, while allowing the level and crossover frequency of each output to be adjusted independently.

BerryBak BDSP2.4U MAX: Chassis and integration

Its compact matte anodized aluminum enclosure limits the footprint on a desk or in a rack, while protecting the circuits for integration into a home system or a DIY speaker. The RCA connectors handle the audio links, power is supplied via USB Type-C and an ICP port allows programming. Setting up the connections thus remains straightforward, while the front-panel crossover settings make it possible to bring an active system into service without any prior software configuration.
