The KZ EDC Pro are in-ear monitors featuring a 10mm dynamic driver covering a 20Hz to 40kHz range, relying on a single-driver architecture in order to ensure continuous signal reproduction across the entire spectrum. Designed for use with mobile sources, it combines a 23.5Ω impedance and a 108dB sensitivity, allowing operation without dedicated amplification, while integrating a detachable cable with microphone for call handling and audio playback via a 3.5mm jack connection.
KZ EDC Pro: Wideband dynamic driver and continuous reproduction
The KZ EDC Pro uses a 10mm dynamic driver covering a 20Hz to 40kHz range, allowing full-spectrum reproduction without the need for crossover filtering between multiple drivers. This architecture ensures continuity between bass, midrange and treble, relying on a single transducer for the entire signal.
This operation is based on wideband reproduction handled by a single element, avoiding the management of multiple internal sources while maintaining a simple acoustic system structure.
KZ EDC Pro: Electrical compatibility and use
With a 23.5Ω impedance and a 108dB sensitivity, the KZ EDC Pro can be used with common sources such as a smartphone, computer or USB adapte. This configuration enables operation without dedicated amplification while remaining suited to standard audio outputs.
The silver-plated copper cable, with a length of 120 ±5cm, ensures the connection to the source, while the 0.75mm 2-pin connector allows replacement if needed. The assembly terminates in a 3.5mm jack connector, complemented by a microphone and an in-line control module integrated into the cable for call management and audio playback.
