SMSL DS20 Portable DAC Headphone Amplifier CS43131 XMOS XU316 32bit 768kHz DSD256 MQA
The SMSL DS20 is a high-performance portable headphone amplifier DAC with a singular aesthetic. It uses 4 CS43131 chips and a USB XMOS XU316 interface to support high-resolution streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz, DSD256 and even MQA. It also incorporates its own high-precision clock circuit to minimize distortion and jitter. Its headphone amplifier circuit is a fully symmetrical PLFC (Precision Linear Feedback Circuit), which also minimizes distortion, crosstalk and enhances dynamic range. In addition, this amplification circuit offers output power of up to 2x 500mW @ 32 ohm and 2x 60mW @ 600 ohm. As for the SMSL DS20's connectivity, the essentials are there, with a USB-C input and two headphone outputs: 3.5mm jack and balanced 4.4mm jack. Last but not least, the DS20 relies on a 6000mAh (22.2wh) 3.7V battery for an autonomy of over 10h.

The SMSL DS20 benefits from audiophile components, including four CS43131 DAC chips and an XMOS XU316 USB interface. As a result, it supports high-resolution sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 768kHz, DSD256 and MQAx8.
SMSL DS20: balanced PLFC circuitry
In addition to supporting high-resolution sampling rates, the DS20 offers output power to drive headphones with impedances from 16 ohm to 600 ohm.

SMSL DS20: extensive compatibility
The DS20 has two USB operating modes. In fact, it can operate in USB 2.0 or USB 1.1, making it compatible with devices such as computers, phones and video game consoles: PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, etc.
