LHY Audio offers us their AS8 Pro+ network switch. It features 6 RJ45 Ethernet ports and 2 SFP fiber optic ports, as well as a dedicated input and output connected to its built-in 10MHz OCXO SC-CUT clock. Everything is housed in an elegant CNC-machined anodized aluminum chassis designed to minimize resonance and engineered to physically separate data processing, audio signal processing, internal clock circuitry, and the power supply stage.

The AS8 Pro features two 50VA transformers delivering a regulated linear power supply coupled with an RFI suppression filter. Once converted, the current passes through a multi-stage low-drop voltage regulator and a voltage rectifier to ensure the cleanest possible power delivery.

LHY Audio AS8 Pro+: OCXO SC-CUT Clock

For signal processing, the LHY Audio AS8 Pro+ offers 6 RJ45 ports, including two with digital isolation, and two optical SFP ports, one of which also benefits from digital isolation. At its core lies a 10MHz OCXO SC-CUT clock, connected to both a BNC input and output. This allows the switch to function as a master clock to synchronize other external sources or simply to reclock the incoming signal. Finally, it is worth noting that the OCXO SC-CUT clock is paired with a PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) system.
