LADDER Bach II: Aesthetics and design

The LADDER Back II is designed to integrate seamlessly into a Hi-Fi system thanks to its minimalist and practical design. Two symmetrical buttons on the front panel of the preamplifier allow you to turn the unit on and off, select a source, or adjust the volume. The chassis is made entirely of anodized and brushed aluminum alloy for an elegant appearance.

LADDER Bach II: Internal architecture and linear power supply

The power supply is based on an 80W toroidal transformer combined with a filtering circuit that uses ELNA and WIMA capacitors, effectively isolating unwanted interference while stabilizing the voltage supplied to the audio stages. This architecture is complemented by a bank of high-capacity capacitors, ensuring a constant energy reserve and limiting variations during dynamic shifts, which results in controlled background noise and improved signal clarity.

Volume control is based on a microcontroller-driven relay attenuator with 60 steps, allowing for smooth adjustment without channel imbalance, while precision resistors ensure consistent signal processing. This approach is complemented by balanced Class A amplification combined with a unity-gain buffer, preserving the integrity of the signal.
