NOBSOUND NS-05P PRO Symmetrizer / Desymmetrizer RCA XLR

The Nobsound NS-05P PRO is a bidirectional audio balancer / unbalancer designed to convert unbalanced RCA audio signals into balanced XLR signals, as well as XLR signals into RCA. Thanks to its fully bidirectional design, it provides an ideal solution for easily integrating consumer HiFi equipment with professional audio gear such as DACs, audio interfaces, mixers, power amplifiers, active speakers, or studio monitors.

The NS-05P PRO uses a true balanced architecture enabling conversion from an unbalanced RCA signal to a balanced XLR output in order to effectively reduce electrical noise, hum, buzzing, and ground loop issues that can degrade sound quality. This design improves signal integrity, reduces interference, and delivers cleaner, more detailed, and more stable sound reproduction, especially over long audio cable runs. The device supports two distinct operating modes: RCA IN → XLR OUT and XLR IN → RCA OUT, with 0dB gain when converting RCA to XLR and 5dB gain when converting XLR to RCA.

The NS-05P PRO also benefits from a dual independent circuit design allowing both conversion paths to operate simultaneously without mutual interference. Each section features its own independent volume control, enabling precise output level adjustment and optimal matching between connected audio equipment. With a frequency response from 20Hz to 20kHz, extremely low harmonic distortion of only 0.00007%, THD+N of 0.008%, and a signal-to-noise ratio greater than 89dB, it ensures faithful and transparent audio transmission. Its particularly precise channel balance with a deviation lower than 0.01dB also ensures excellent soundstage stability.

Powered by 5V DC via USB Type-C, the NS-05P PRO features a robust compact aluminum chassis ensuring excellent protection against electromagnetic interference while offering an elegant and durable finish. Measuring 155 x 70 x 42 mm and weighing 420g, it integrates easily into a home HiFi, studio, or desktop setup.
