SMSL's SD-9 is an affordable and versatile network drive. It supports indeed many file formats and has a complete connectivity. The wireless transmission can be done in Bluetooth or in WiFi (DLNA / AirPlay).

Audio architecture
The SD-9 adopts an architecture based on an ARM SoC and CPLD couple. The SoC takes care of the data decoding, while the CPLD takes care of the clock management of the audio signal. The clock signal is generated by two oscillators (22.5792MHz and 24.576MHz) in order to drastically reduce the jitter level and offer a very accurate sound reproduction.

Wireless connectivity
The SD-9 benefits from both wireless transmission via Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi. It also supports DLNA and Apple AirPlay protocols for optimal compatibility with your other devices.

HiBy Link Compatible
The SD-9 will be able to connect very simply to the HiBy Link mobile application. This one will allow you, via a neat and intuitive graphical interface, to manage the playback of your music remotely. Moreover, it will allow you to access the TIDAL streaming service, which offers files in MQA format for a high quality sound reproduction.

A complete connectic
The SMSL network player is equipped with a particularly complete connectic to adapt to all the needs and all the audio systems. We can find in input USB-B (USB Audio), two USB-A connectors to connect storage devices, a slot for Micro SD card and an Ethernet RJ45 connector for a wired network connection. For its outputs, the SD-9 offers Toslink Optical, AES/EBU, Coaxial and I2S LVDS via HDMI.
