DOUK AUDIO P7 MM Phono Preamplifier with ECC83 Tubes

The Douk Audio P7 is an MM tube phono preamplifier designed to bring warmth, musicality, and harmonic richness to analog HiFi systems. Operating with genuine PSVANE ECC83 tubes powered by a high 180V voltage supply, it combines the sonic qualities typical of tube circuits with a modern design integrating both an MM phono preamplifier and an RCA line preamplifier. Compatible with MM cartridge turntables as well as line-level sources such as CD players, TVs, smartphones, or streamers, the P7 features one MM Phono input and one stereo RCA input.

On the output side, it offers dual connectivity with an unbalanced RCA output and a true balanced XLR output, allowing better noise immunity and improved dynamics when used with compatible amplifiers or active speakers. Depending on the source used, it can deliver up to 2V on RCA and 4V on XLR via the RCA line input, or respectively 0.5V and 1V in phono mode. It also benefits from excellent signal quality with extremely low harmonic distortion of 0.03% in phono mode and a signal-to-noise ratio reaching up to 109dB via the line input.

The P7 also integrates a switchable 20Hz high-pass filter (HPF) in phono mode to eliminate subsonic noise and unwanted vibrations often present during vinyl playback, thus improving clarity, dynamics, and bass stability. It also features bass/treble tone controls with a ±6dB adjustment range, as well as a bypass mode allowing the correction circuits to be completely bypassed in order to obtain a pure and unmodified audio signal. Compliant with the RIAA curve in phono mode, it ensures accurate and faithful vinyl playback. Powered by DC 12V / ≥2A, the P7 benefits from a robust compact aluminum chassis measuring 155 x 124 x 42mm and weighing 707g, offering elegant integration into any analog or hybrid HiFi system.
