OYAIDE PA-02 V2 Interconnect Cable

The Oyaide PA-02 V2 is a balanced dual-conductor shielded audio cable designed to ensure reliable transmission of both analogue and digital signals. It relies on 102SSC copper conductors at 102.3% IACS, combined with a proprietary twisted geometry, to guarantee high conductivity and consistent electrical stability across the full signal path.

Suited to both audiophile environments and professional applications, it combines a controlled-impedance balanced architecture with a high-density braided shield, effectively limiting interference while maintaining signal integrity. This approach allows it to integrate into high-fidelity chains as well as AES/EBU links, while retaining stable behaviour under the constraints of installation and use.

The PA-02 V2 relies on the proprietary 102SSC conductor, drawn from primary copper conforming to JIS C1011 to eliminate any impurities associated with recycling, while a surface stripping process removes residual contaminants to promote uniform conduction. This approach is extended through drawing via natural diamond dies, refining the strand structure and improving their consistency, while maintaining a manufacturing tolerance of ±1µm that limits electrical variation. The whole, completed by a double annealing process reducing internal mechanical stress, achieves a conductivity of 102.3% IACS, ensuring stable and predictable signal transmission.

Oyaide PA-02 V2 : Halogen-free insulation

The expanded polypropylene insulation with a low dielectric constant reduces capacitive losses, while the halogen-free polyethylene outer jacket, RoHS compliant, introduces a mechanical damping effect that attenuates parasitic vibrations. This material/structure combination limits permittivity variations at low frequencies, resulting in controlled attenuation and more stable bass reproduction. The assembly thus ensures coherent signal transmission, while maintaining mechanical properties suited to the demands of audio installation.
