These Speaker Snap banana plugs are gold-plated for optimum resistance to corrosion and erosion. They also feature an extremely practical mounting system that requires no tools.
To mount this banana plug on your bare cable, simply insert the cable into the banana plug and press the lever to lock it in place. All that's left to do is connect the cable to your speakers, amplifier or other HiFi equipment. This innovative mounting system, which is still not widely used in the audio world, has a number of advantages. In particular, it's extremely easy to mount and provides a solid connection between the cable and the banana plug.
These Speaker Snap banana plugs are compatible with cables with conductors from 12AWG (Ø2mm / 3.3mm²) to 24AWG (0.5mm / 0.2mm²).. The total diameter of the cable to be inserted with its sheath must not exceed 4mm.
