It delivers 50W per channel, utilising Class D amplification combined with a tubes preamplifier to achieve both energy efficiency and harmonic signal shaping.
Designed for a compact hi-fi system, it combines CD playback, USB compatibility and digital and wireless connectivity, allowing you to centralise various sources within a single device. This approach enables it to act as the heart of the system, whilst delivering a well-defined and stable sound for home use with 4Ω speakers.

The Malata MH-SD08 features a Class D amplifier delivering 50W per channel, enabling it to drive high-efficiency speakers whilst minimising power loss, whilst the Class 5 tubes preamplifier shapes the sound reproduction by introducing a more gradual harmonic signature. Malata MH-SD08: Playback and Audio Formats
The Malata MH-SD08 features a CD mechanism fitted with a Sanyo optical unit, ensuring stable disc playback whilst maintaining compatibility with CD, HDCD, HQCD, CD-R/RW and MP3-CD formats. This capability is extended via a USB interface supporting up to 128 GB, allowing access to FLAC, WAV, APE, MP3 and WMA files, with playback quality of up to 16-bit/44.1 kHz.
