Digital interface USB to I2S LVDS AES SPDIF Accusilicon 32bit 768kHz DSD512
Topping unveils with its U90 a powerful digital interface, allowing to take advantage of a wide range of outputs, while supporting high resolution audio streams and embedding an optimized architecture to maintain the integrity of the original signal.
The input is simply done on USB-B connector. The U90, is also not stingy as for its outputs. There is in fact an I2S LVDs output on HDMI connector, two coaxial outputs, two AES outputs and two optical outputs. Enough to satisfy the great majority of the current uses for this type of device.
Full I2S compatibility
In order to ensure a perfect compatibility with different brands, having an I2S pinout that can vary, the U90 is equipped with four switches allowing to modify this pinout.
Ultra Low Jitter & USB Isolation
The U90 uses a pair of Accusilicon femtosecond oscillators for its clock signal, combined with an Altera MAX II CPLD. This design allows perfect synchronization and management of the clock signals for extremely efficient jitter suppression. In addition, the USB input is isolated to eliminate noise generated by a ground loop.
Trigger 12V
The rear panel of the U90 also has a 12V trigger output. When used with other devices that have this input, the U90 can automatically control the on/off of the system it is integrated in.
