FangSound Silenos DAC R2R Balanced Class AB Headphone Amplifier 32bit 768 kHz
The FangSound Silenos is a small, versatile device that acts as a DAC, headphone amplifier, and preamplifier. Its digital-to-analog conversion stage consists of an R2R network of 192 complementary resistors to achieve clean rendering with sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 768kHz. Its amplification circuit is based on a balanced architecture that delivers high headphone amplification power while maintaining a pure signal. It is capable of delivering up to 14W into 32Ω of output power, allowing it to drive a wide range of headphones and IEMs available on the market, including some with high impedance or planar magnetic technology. The unit is powered by a dual GaN switching power supply with up to 100W of power. In terms of connectivity, the FangSound Silenos is not to be outdone and will suit many Hi-Fi configurations, while its extremely compact form factor makes it an ideal desktop device.
FangSound Silenos: Complementary R2R DAC architecture
The FangSound Silenos incorporates a discrete complementary network of 192 resistors to improve signal processing performance and produce an analog-like sound that is appreciated by many users. It supports up to 32-bit 768kHz PCM and includes internal oversampling for more detailed and accurate sound reproduction.
FangSound Silenos: High-power balanced outputs
The Silenos' balanced headphone outputs are capable of delivering up to 14W + 14W of output power. This makes it a perfect match for high-impedance and/or low-sensitivity dynamic headphones or IEMs, as well as difficult-to-drive planar magnetic headphones.
FangSound Silenos: Dual GaN switching power supply
The GaN (gallium nitride) switching power supply delivers up to 100W of power and offers high efficiency, low EMI noise, and fast response. In other words, it provides reliable and stable power without noise interference, even under high loads.

Please note that when using the analog XLR input, ensure that the USB-C digital input is disconnected so that the Silenos can produce sound.
In addition, the 4.4mm preamplified output jack supports connection to XLR and RCA with active speakers or a power amplifier using a suitable adapter or cable.
